Interesting to see how quickly the money arrives to improve the ground for lewes. The Brighton connection very intersting for a number of reasons.
With arrival of the stadium at Falmer is it likely that Brighton will want a succesful conf side 10 minutes away. Maybe they won't be too bothered but can't be sure. One thing is for certain Falmer stadium will do lewes no favours.
going to play devils advocate here. When i got off the train at lewes to see the crawley game I walked round to the pan I could'nt help but notice what an attractive piece of land it would be with a view to developing into a residential estate. 1 minute from station, 1 hour from london, ideal for a commute. Anybody remember the Goldstone Ground.......
Hope I'm wrong but if the ground improvements don't materialise or are of a cheap make do nature i would be concerned.
Anybody know the legal status of Lewes as a club? I think i am right in saying that Eastbourne have taken legal steps to try and prevent the numerous problems that success and money bring.

It is listed as a sports ground and is part,of Active Lewes,so therefore will never be a residential estate.
