2 games in to the season and 10 goals scored.... I caught the game v Town and despite conceeding in 2 mins thought the guys played a nice game.. Some very positive moves all round.. Nice to see Leach get a goal again, Wildey playing some nice touches down left flank.. Ben solid at back, Nathan too with some good running. Ollie Barton in goal once again look solid. We can think opurselves very lucky to have some very good up and coming players.

Went to the game also , but was this really a reserve team ?
With five members of the squad from saturday and Ben Austin starting there were more of the first team squad included that the youngsters. If this continues the better youngsters will get fed up and leave the club .
Is winning a league some 6 leagues down the ladder really that important that we do not develop players

Whole point of a reserve team is the assist the first team in brigning on players and helping first teamers get some match fintess in. Austin hasn't played a game due to suspsension, so played for match fitness. N Crabb, Wilde and Leach have spent first few games on bench and hardly played at all so played for same reason I'd imagine. Sadly backfired for Wilde as according to the Argus he picked up an injury and now doubtful for tomorrow.
