Not a classsic game, somewhat spoilt by the blustery conditions.
However, whereas last season we would have been lucky to come away with a point this time we took all three and this despite Rambo blasting the ball into space from the penalty spot.
Obviously the players need to play more together but what was clear was when we play the ball on the ground we are effective and the goals will come.
Well done lads. A great start to the season.. ;D
Good to see one of our old boys, Liam Baitup scored a second-half hat-trick to give the Town a 3-1 win at Arundel.

Always good to get the first 3 points on the board quickly and without conceding a goal too. A good start can make a massive difference to the way a season pans out.

firstly congrates to the team for a good win against yeading who did play quite well, but we still seem to kick the ball in the air to much especially when the opposition have a good height advantage over us and why don,t we use the full width of the pitch? i stand opposite the main stand near the drummers and for a lot of the game there were nobody anywere near on my side of the pitch. i thought this would change this year and hope it does.On a final note would anybody like to see players names on there shirts as with so many new faces i can,t put a name too......just a thought....

Great start well done everyone. I was pleased Smarty had a good game, he seemed to really enjoy himself now he's fit. Outstanding performances from Crabby and Armo. It was refreshing to see G&N go for more goals even when we were two up, confidence seems to be flowing through the whole squad. I see one of the Argus reporters is tipping us to be the dark horses this season, I know its early days, but I think he could well be right. Again, well done everyone.
Rob.
