I posted something under 'Gravesend friendly' as for some reason I couldn't start a new thread.

:)Thanks for the info chaps. Who is Popovas Javoslavas. Which lorry did he jump off the back of at Dover He looked pretty good last night, hugging the touchline and using his feet well. Apparently doesn't speak much English and is over here to learn the lingo - but his crossing and corner taking was a revelation for me last night. Would be good to see him a few more games.

Not much of a crowd there but didn't see you Andrew. Did they announce how many there out of interest?

I was with my dad and a Hastings fan I know on the far side opposite the main stand. Crowd was small, but don't think it was officially confirmed.

Andrew Cant see that a lack of English is a problem. Ever had a conversation with Gary Wilson? ?

The Lithuanian lad produced some of the best corners I have seen from a Borough player for sometime and to top it all we actually scored from one.

I left with 25 mins or so left. Take it we scored again then from a corner? Andrew, no doubt you can furnish me with the details from 2-2?!

Yep, our Lithuanian friend swung in several dangerous corners which Hastings did well to clear, apart from one from which Tait netted from close range 13 minutes from time.
Former United midfielder Nima Cham crashed a shot against the Borough woodwork late on, but that was the closest Hastings came to a third equaliser.
