What a shambles new players and new Manager wanted urgently relegation on the cards

First half I really thought Slough were the worst team I have seen in a long time. It was so easy to get our strikers through on goal, we seemed a little more direct than normal and every half decent pass led to some very good chances. Holman full of good endeavour will be gutted at his misses when 1 on 1. We could have been 5-0 up at half time, instead 1-0. It seemed the first time in a long time we had a 2 goal cushion and I really thought when we scored early in the 2nd half we would relax in front of goal and run away with it.

Alas, we well and truly threw it away and in the end hung on for a draw. Again the lack of experience was there for all to see and we retreated and lost all composure. When they got it to 2-1 it was a relief to so quickly get the 2 goal cushion back thanks to Emerson. But after that our attacking threat seemed to end as did our ability to keep possession. It looked to me like lots of changes in what the players were being asked to do, not sure the messages were understood. I know we had lots of talented players injured but even so we looked confused and lacking in leadership.

Another result that is really hard to take and a performance that raises a lot more questions than answers.

That's a fair summary of the game. The ref was incompetent and lost control completely brandishing yellow after yellow. Would not have been surprised if Slough had nicked it towards the end.

I honestly don't think its Marks fault, we've got terrible injury issues, how can you expect your side to play to its potential if we haven't fielded a full strength 11 since the opening day. If we had won 3-1 then we wouldn't be complaining. We lost due to injuries fatigue and we didn't have any midfielders on the bench who could control the game.

Biggest squad in the clubs history I think iam right in saying 20 odd man squad and he's moaning about injurys.

He signed all these players with terrible injury records. His full time interview is a joke."The positives are we didn't loose" that says it all after losing a 3-1 lead at home to a team who were 4th from bottom.

Full time football really!! Players were out on their feet after 70 mins and Slough so much fitter explain that !!!

We didn't even start the game with the more experienced players on the bench when they do come on never seem to know where they should be playing we are full time and shoud be fit

We were really good in the first 60 minutes. Shame we made poor decisions in front of the goal, I reckon if kealy was fit he would have had a field day

Paxman, remy, kealy, finney, leslie, plus the possible injuries of big Mike, Brad, clarkey, Billy, uche, holman who came off with a knock

I was surprised Barry or Uche didn’t take up a midfield position instead of Quick.

Bigbenji Clarke Uche both played Finney should never been signed we supporters knew he was out for a big part of last season through injury and well known for injury sustained why didn't the manager know?

I think they were expecting the fitness coach who worked at Man City and West Ham and for Avram Grant in Israel to be able to keep players fitter and off the injury table. I don’t know what’s going wrong here. Is it the adjustment for players not used to full time? Is it the plastic pitch? Is it just being unlucky as happens to teams some seasons. Let’s be honest there hasn’t been much luck this season.

. It would interesting to know how many teams who are full time play on 3/4G pitches and what their injury situations are like
