I dont think we have any grounds to doubt the owner is serious about getting a striker. He’s not held back on spending by any measure. He’s signed an entire squad in a couple of months. Once it’s become clear there is a need to strengthen he’s said he’s going to bring someone in. Most clubs could only dream of an owner doing that. The hard bit will be getting the right striker. Admittedly harder at this stage of the season but I’d rather they take their time and get the right player than rush out to buy the first available donkey (Weghorst anyone). He has to fit with our style of play.

If we don't get a striker by Saturday then it's just ridiculous and we're sabotaging ourselves

Agree we been saying this for weeks other clubs have signed strikers players will go to manager's they know
