If Mr King was in charge now with all the available money we would be watching a team to be proud of and put Boro in a position the town deserves at least he an Eastbourne residence

Agreed, would have got the lads going and would have got the best players around

It would need an approach from the owner. SK has been turned down on more than one occasion so wouldn’t automatically apply.

Yes agree but he was turned down by the stick in the mud committee not by a professional business man

Just need a couple of bigger more physical players up front and we will be much better. We have hardly won any headers in the opponents penalty areas in any of the games this season and have never looked like scoring from the many corners we have won.. Defensively we look good as the goals conceded shows but to only score 3 goals so far is very disappointing. As usual SK is again mentioned but things must be a lot different now as we have 20 + contracted full time players in the club.

New striker this week. Confirmed by beardy in post match interview. Hes very honest and he knows we must get one

Many of those need to start playing up to this league Standard im afraid quite a few won't make the grade signed in desperation and to many know injuries prone players

I’ve not seen another club make such a big rebuild in just 3-4 months. Changing virtually the entire squad. It’s clearly a bigger task than anyone at the club realised and I guess one of the problems with it is that you won’t know the weaknesses until you have a decent number of games. For example on paper Vigar looked a big strong unit who’s good in the air, but it’s clearly not working yet. Normally a summer is a chance to make a few changes to areas lacking the season before. We’ve tried to do it all at once. Anyway my thinking is that given the scale of this rebuild the manager should have significantly longer to get his plans in place. I’d rather they buy another striker than change the manager. Most of the games have been narrow losses and I am still impressed by them defensively. Common sense says time together will improve things and I’d like to see the manager who chose them given more of a chance. The whole project has not been helped by ridiculous messaging from the club about how they would sweep through the non league. It turns out there are well run clubs, managers and players that aren’t about to roll out the red carpet. The tick tocks etc looking very stupid now. Time for genuine humility, reassurances from the owner that he’s not going to pack up. Important to know that his business model is robust enough to cope with more than 1 year in this division. It’s amazing how often a lucky goal off someone’s backside can change the momentum and bring confidence - I’m still hanging on for that.

We never seem to get the same amount of luck as other sides do. No deflected goals or own goals. Instead other teams rely on our mistakes. It always seems we have to work harder than the other side for our goals. While the get them as freebies.

I also think Mr leslie vastly underestimated the league. No way can you expect to win the league with a squad as an inexperienced and young as this. I know leslie is a superb businessman. But maybe he should leave the football to the football people. I think he might have a bit too much say on the signings

Perhaps I'm wrong, but it seemed that player recruitment was a bit haphazard. Almost as if a dart was thrown at a list of clubs, and TPTB decided to bring in somebody from there. Next day, different club to buy from. Just a thought.

we should have brought in players from the division higher in

Panic signings no contact never been a manager at thislevel and it shows the owner should have gone for an experienced manager he lives in Eastbourne not far from the ground
