I hope the players can motivate themselves on Monday. MB’s post match interview would suggest he himself is in need of some motivation or some inspiration from somewhere.

I felt he seemed a little despondent too, not surprising really, but confidence flows from the top. Even if you're frustrated and lost for words, part of the job of a manager is to keep the camp believing, put fire in their bellies and instil a hunger for success. Without wanting to hark back to the past, this was something I felt Danny did well in his interviews. There's no doubting Mark's coaching ability but an outward display of confidence is important. The tide will turn eventually if the belief is there.. |

Very disappointed with the Manager interview no enthusiasm this might have the same reaction from the players he might be a good coach but not necessarily a good Manager

For me I feel we need to change formation going with flat 4 at back 3 in centre mid 3 up top . With 4 at back everyone knows there job... just my opinion

ive read the comments on mark beard and i have looked at all his post match interviews. He looks more and more confused with each interview and after each loss, he lacks any confidence and looks at the floor all the time.
Everyone says he is a coach and not a manager and i feel that may be the case. For him to say he isnt a quitter really makes me worried. Why would you be thinking it after 4 games of the season unless you were feeling not up to the job after 2 and a half months and why would you say it to eceryone unless you were actually thinking about quitting??
Why has nobody heard from the CEO to reassure everyone that his manager is the man for the new era and new journey and new project?? the results and players would say he might not be.
After last years progress this looks like it could be a giant step backward and with higher costs for supporting.
Really tough games coming too, has eveyone seen the fixtures?

I personally reached out to the ceo via Instagram. I addressed the concerns of the fanbase and he stated not to worry it will take time and have faith in the team |

Thanks for that BigBenji, Al Wolliams hasnt gone viral with that thought has he, its easy for him to do so, isnt it?
For him to say dont worry is unbelievable. The fans are worried, the players too, the manager is like a rabbit caught in headlights and it is somone else's money! Blimey, he ought to be worried as so much of the mark beard situation is on his head. Will he still be as stupid to say the same if the team loses the next 2 games, i doubt it. 3 points at CCFC would be a plaster for sure but the cracks could already be too big to hold. Ive stopped sponsoring as all commercial prices have gont through the roof, there seems to be a disconnect with the local business community and it doesnt seem such a happy and friendly club just now and that is so sad and unforgivable
come on boro, 3 points for the fans

We have really good players, all we need is a bit of form. And I'm sure all the cracks will be cracked. Especially if we win our next two.

For me though the wing backs in the squad are actually wingers and look lost asking to defend and we lose the best part of them
