Whats happened to both Kevin Anderson and Graham Austin who both done a fantastic job getting team information out to us fans . Anthony Scott is doing a very good summary but miss our dynamic media pairing.

There seems to be a bit of a theme going on here and one person has decided to get rid and change lots of things. The Clubhouse revamp is a bit of a weird one , not any club colours . It looks more like a night club with neon lighting , flowers and the acoustics are awful with no carpet. The next point is rather baffling where they have stopped people leaving the ground at halftime to have a pint in the clubhouse leaving three bar staff twiddling their thumbs for a hour and three quarters doing nothing and selling tinned beer inside the ground inside the ground. Whose Idea was this?? Then there is Graham Austin's media leaving who was doing a great job whats the story about that . A lot of volunteers who have been here a long time are leaving as well and we know who they are and if we are not careful we wont have many left. 50/50 draw stopped and no programmes It would be nice to get a statement from the club as to what is going on and who has made these changes and why

Went to Q&A last night and with regard to the programs . We lose money on programs. They will be available for the first 4 home games to see how sales go . Then a decision will be made as to wether it continues . With regard to our media team leaving, What the official line is , is different from what I’ve heard.

Well I think what’s coming out is that Graham was told “his services were no longer required “ whether the club statement, when it appears reflects that is a different matter. My guess is it won’t.

Hearing lots of odds and sods regarding the volunteers at the Lane, really hope what I’m hearing isn’t true. Does seem some very bizarre goings on happening at the moment. Hopefully some kind of club statement soon will clear up the rumour mill.

I tried to post on the Facebook page yesterday firstly in the comments on another thread and then I tried to create a thread. On both occasions I was simply asking the question one what had happened to grahams farewell post and secondly when could we expect a statement from the club concerning recent events concerning our media guys. The post I made in the comments bit was removed within 10 minutes and when I attempted to create a new thread my request was refused. Having supported this club for the past 20 years I find this is a very sad reflection of what is currently going on. With so many rumours floating about then now is the time for the club to issue a statement. I live in hope but I’m not holding my breath.

All of the above a bit depressing reading. You really shouldn't run a club on what seems like a policy of secrecy and unaccountability. Fair enough if there is a business case for a decision, e.g. programmes, but why impose a lock-in to the ground for nearly two hours?

You cannot run any club on secrecy be open with the supporters this club seems to like keeping the supporters in the dark why

If the rumours are turning out to true now is the time for the Chairman to issue a statement to stop the rumours and tell the truth or for Kevin Anderson to speak on what's going on

KA wrote a piece on the EBFC fb saying there were some off field issues. He said he couldn’t go into detail, and tbh you wouldn’t expect him to. Issue or issues have to be resolved otherwise we get half baked stories, rumours and guess’s. Whether it’s Kevin or a member of the Borough board I’m sure we will get to hear before next Saturday when the important thing is to hear one whistle at 3pm and one at 4.50 ish and hopefully 3 points.

Why is the Club Chairman so reluctant to give information come on Chairman let give us very loyal long suffering supporters the truth and stop the rumours now the longer you leave it the rumours will continue this is not good for the club 😉

The club wants a fresh start they have to look very hard to find better servants who been some of the best volunteers the club have had and will be extremely hard to replace change is not always for the best

Not sure I learnt anything from the club statement although it was good to see the richly deserved thanks. The rumour that reached me was that the “club wanted a more professional approach “ though I guess they won’t admit to that hence “a change in strategy “ being the reasoning. What a change in strategy will mean only time will tell but it might well come at a cost to supporters. As has been mentioned change isn’t always a good thing and certainly asking volunteers to stand aside seems alien to the Borough way of doing things. The club has been built on volunteers, sad times .

I wonder who wants the change and why the club cannot survive unless they have good volunteers
