I see we’ve loaned young Tyler out again on ‘3 way registration’. I get loaning young players out to get them game time but have to question the reasoning of the level at which loaned to. Youth football to county league is a good natural progression to adapt to the rigours of men’s football but what benefit is there to club and player to now make this loan to Eastbourne Rangers who play in the mid sussex premier division? It’s a huge backward step for a promising young player in my opinion and with an approach like this we’ll never see the likes of another Johnson or Lok again.

You make a very good point RotR regarding loan players but consider this as an option too. We are blessed with a 3G pitch unlike many of the other Sussex non league clubs, and I include Uckfield, where Tyler is currently on loan. With the harsh winter weather we have been having and continue to have, just how many games has Tyler completed during his loan? Week in week out games are postponed due to water logged pitches. Whilst Rangers are an even lower league set up, they play on 3G locally and that will give Tyler and other players actual game time, rather than sitting around every Saturday kicking their heels. Any match time keeps fitness levels up whether at NLS or below. I think credit should also go to Tyler who despite all this still pledges his loyalty to Borough over all..

Agree with both comments just a pity Boro have not given him more playing time at our level it takes time to settle to the pace
