Boro crawl over the line winning the penalty shoot out 5-4
A very poor performance tonight. 0-0 after extra time.
Credit to Peacehaven for a gallant effort.

That was an awful performance from Boro. On a positive note I thought Ayman played ok, keeper was sound and chips were good. Confused about Charlie as he looked ok warming up? Need to play better on Saturday.

Need to play better on Saturday. indeed that was hard work we rode our luck late on missed penalty for Peacehaven 89th minute and shoot out miss to win it for them we hung in there is about the only plus....a word for our support that gave it all for 120 plus minutes..the Peacehaven fans were not a happy bunch..as we celebrated our slightly fortunate progress to the final hopefully saturday brings us a improved performance and 3 vital points....

If he is going to bring players in they have got to be up to our leauge standard he is reported to have good contacts why not use them Mr King would he has proved that at Dartford when he took over I the bottom five now in the play off place that experience

I agree. Whatever people say about Steve King he gets results and to the doubters that will day that he ruins clubs financially, I would say that I believe that it’s a club’s Chairman or treasurer that sign the cheques- I would have thought that with Bradbury, Romain, Wheeler, Adebowale and Campbell not drawing wages that we should have the means to get a goal scorer. That’s unless we’re in a bigger financial mess than we are aware of.

You are correct boro 234 not Mr King who has got our club in financial trouble but the club itself and those who are in charge

YAWN - they are back, the'club can do no good pundits' - short memories the lot of you, have you forgotten Crawley 2 leagues higher than us - on your logic they should have thrashed us, but they didn't
What needs to be said is well done Peacehaven in giving us such a close game
Oh.............and we are back on the King is great thread again - ignore the money he has and the signings he has made since 'being in the bottom 5' - I'll list them for you
Romain Elliot Nour Husin Jack Jebb Bansal-McNultey Givanni McGregor Braham Barrett Liam Nash Nick Arnold
8 players all from teams higher - in fact they have so many they can afford to let Charlie Sheringham out on loan
Supporters my bottom........................

Haha! Just because it has been pointed out that the team didn’t perform last night then we’re not supporters! I agree that Peacehaven played well and yes, the Crawley game was a good result but where’s the consistency? The Dartford game saw the guys competing well and they deserved something from the game but I don’t think that you can honestly say that last night was a good performance no matter how you look at it. As for the Steve King comments then yes, I’m not disputing that he’s signed players from higher leagues- I stick with my point regarding results though. He gets the best out of players- Elliot struggled with us at the beginning of the season yet he’s now challenging for the top scorer in the league. Coincidence? Maybe.

If our club had not got in such a financial mess we might have signed players of more experience

Sorry but I disagree with 'If our club had not got in such a financial mess' - it didn't get in a 'financial mess' through miss management - someone who was going to put in £40K withdrew at the last minute

Just because someone said they were going to invest a large sum doesn’t mean you start spending it. Sorry Les but this financial situation was caused by mismanagement.

The question is and we shall never know the truth why did he withdraw he spent a lot of money on the dressing rooms and I think also the main clubs toilets perhaps he was wanting a place in there little empire
