Yes, well done to the management team and the players for a really important 3 points today. With Tonbridge playing St Albans this was a massive result for us.

Away win and clean sheet can’t ask for more than that. Well done to Sergio, Scott and the players, decent start.

A good day yesterday for those of us who made it excellent team performance the 1-0 scoreline was sufficient in the end as we looked comfortable for the majority of the game we dominated possession my only concern is that we didn't turn that into more goals but very promising overall,,,,shame the minibus failed to make it but our little group of ten (railway warriors) made a lot of noise in the ground and clubhouse afterwards great support and players were great thanking us all,,,,

So glad to get 3 points . It was a must tbh and we delivered . Now we move on to Hartley Witney and a bit of a run would do no harm at all.

Perhaps I'm wrong about DB. He has the reputation of making a lot of noise then not delivering. Quite impressed by his interview in the paper. Went to watch LW on Satruday, they deserved to win, but the 3-1 scoreline flattered them a bit. YMCA had lots of good possession, but had a powder puff attack. God knows how they managed 6 against EBU. All in all the game was a credit to the SCL, but the ref was awful. He was one of those who just loved to wave his yellow card for almost nothing and gave a long lecture to the player concerned despite the fact the game was played in good spirit. At least he was just as bad for both teams. What was interesting was watching the young players on our books. Astle was wasted as a right footed left back, more of a midfielder. Blackmore was composed and held his position well, but he was not dominant. Can't see him being fast enough for the NFLS. The young winger Puton well, he is a prospect. At this level he goes past defenders as if they are not there, likes to get a shot away too. The best player on the pitch was not on our books. Mendy a left sided attacking midfielder. Good passer, good vision and close skills. If we don't sign him he won't be at LW very long.

Honeymoon period at the moment, the last two matches and the next two are not teams that would would be considered world beaters. Tougher matches lie ahead, that’s when we’ll see if it’s a good appointment.

Intelligent play; skilful with the ball at his feet; D.be needs to have a look at this young lad. An exciting prospect that another club will profit from if we don’t. Remember the name: Santana Mendy.
