The current situation will not look good on his CV so I reckon he will to his best to stay and get things right. The board of course may have other idea's, but I don't think that Mr King will be on their list.

He will not get it right, that ship sailed plus we would be lucky if a certain mr king would even come here, after the way he has been treated by certain individuals at our club

TW called them out just before he left. He wanted to move the club forward from mid table, since then mid table would be a dream finish. Bottom half is more realistic but finishing above the drop zone would be the number one target. People can say this post is negative I’d like to call it realistic

TW in the Herald,a couple of weeks before he resigned, said that without investment we would not progress. My understanding is that at the start of the season we had an investor in place and on the back of that our current manager accepted the job.The next bit is more complicated as it’s only what I’ve heard as to why our investor walked. What I heard was that he wanted 100% control of the club in return for his investment. That can’t happen as the way we are structured means no one or body can have complete control as I understand it .

Iwhish those few people would resign so the club can move on they have held the club back for years I wonder why they are spoiling it for all

I wonder how many clubs have a top 7 budget and a group of bottom 7 players.

By the sound of things we had a realistic backer, not some rich Arab whose hear today gone tomorrow (Ebbsfleet springs to mind). But again this committee show no ambition. I don’t think it would bother them if we got relegated.

And 51 % would have given him total control which under the current structure is not allowed ,as I understand it.

It meant changing some criteria, which was down to a vote from the Committee, and they voted against it,there is more details to it but that’s the Cronks of it

I just wonder how long we can survive at this level not long unless the Chairman and his committee are willing to get their head out the sand it has gone on far to long I can never understand why they are so stubborn 👎👎👎

The feel of self importance and pigheadedness. Anyone worth their salt employs the best person equipped for the job except here. They have heard this that and the other about a local manager, oh he’s bankrupt clubs, he spends beyond the budget, he’s not a manager. They are too frightened in case it doesn’t work.Well if you don’t try you won’t know. 10 top 5 finishes smacks of someone who has something about them. In the meantime we’ll continue with the same old same old.
