Thoroughly enjoyed that
1st 20 mins all kick and rush as you would expect until things settled down
2 very good goals, Kane's pass and Greg's finish for the second was sublime
Greg Luer my Mom - hadn't realised how fast he was, made their centre backs look pedestrian - score could have been 4 plus with better finishing in 2nd half from all the forwards
Referee was appalling in first half -improved in the second
Saying all that Tonbridge were not very good and only had a couple of decent attempts on goal - they also have a nasty side which the referee missed/ignored
Bigger challenges to come but that will do me as a start - well done lads

Satisfying 2-0 win, Tonbridge we’re not great although 2nd half they did improve. Ref was not up to it, no consistency shown. As previous fans have said bigger obstacles to come but an improvement on last season

I heard on Saturday when I was at ‘Riccay that Ciaran Jones had left the club. Not official though....heard it via other supporters.

Thought game was a bit scrappy. Tonbridge very physical but no subtlety. Missed Torres when he was replaced and West did not fill his shoes. Ferry made a difference in managing the game at then end and Wheeler was a great presence in the first half before being replaced.Presume he was injured? Did not rate Luer after seeing him in pre-season, but if he carries on like that he will be a real asset. Walker and West were awful, both kept giving the ball away.
