Fantastic result, well done everyone. Really pleased Smarty got his goal, he's had some unfair stick of late, and is one of our most hard working players. Safety is still in our hands, we are almost there.

A very important result today. ;D Hayes play Basingstoke away next week. Defeat for them and we're safe.

This game is so unpredictable - great isn't it?
A stunning result which almost certainly secures our place and we may well yet see a surprise as to the second club to be relegated with Basingstoke not clear of trouble and a game against Hayes to come.
I was pleased that Matt Smart scored as I was a severe critic of his display against Havant and I was very happy with his application against Cambridge on Saturday.
Did you see the gate of over 5,000 for the Weymouth v St Albans title decider? It's a different world really, isn't it?

just got back off the coach from Welling game - we showed guts and determination, where Welling didn't, in the second half!! After first 20 minutes of First Half it looked like we were going to get a seeing to! but weathered the storm. Matt Smarts goal was laid on by Andy Atkin, who was imposing in the air against a physical midfield and big back line. Ben Austin was my MOM, making huge runs down the right and inside to cause Welling loadsa problems. Phil Warner No7 LBack, Mark Green not played, Contractual agreement with Welling? Andy Atkin No8, A Storey on bench, fall out after getting subbed last game??? Loui looked ineffective against their big defenders, and defended next to Ben?? at times. Eventually gave way, as did Crabby; as A Robinson was not with the side today, at the last 20 mins of the game - for Lee Newman and Joe Keehan, who almost had a goal with first touch. I think it was Ramsay who had a goal disallowed in second half, before scoring the winner. As I said we showed guts today, even though the temptation to defend deep was shown - and got stung from a corner - what a freaking relief though ;D

a great game ,glad i went .to put game into context wellings home league record up to mon was played 19 won 11 drawn 7 lost only 1 and that was 27/8 so makes the result look even better esp as we was missing green, robinson, storey .despite not playing in the first team for ages andy atkin played a good game against what one would politely say as a physical team my own thoughts are a dirty and cheating team, fortunately in the 2nd half the ref seemed to agree and was constantly awarding us free kicks for their antics, its a wonder we have any shirts left in one piece
