at um football! Boro play best when pushing forward, proven today. Great entertainment! see what the Borough Council are trying to take away from us!!!!! www.eastbournetoday.co.uk/ViewArticle2.aspx?SectionID=488&ArticleID=1859976one of the EBC politicians has reared their heads to comment through the paper? Ironic when he lambasts the Club for doing the same?? Right I guess emails, messages and letters, should be addressed to him, as he seems so interested.

An excellent performance in a most enjoyable game during which we must have had at least 70% of the play.
A number of chances missed and some great saves by their keeper including that amazing double save in the second half.
It was great to get the late goal after conceding exactly the same against Basingstoke.
Now to put in a similar performance next week against Hayes.
The only disappointment was Darren Baker's sending off which was inevitable once he raised his hands against the Salisbury player. He will now be suspended and have to fight his way back into the side when he is available to play.

i reckon the team to play hayes should be hook austin pullan helmsey jenkins lovett smart armstrong wilde
harding tait subs: mcarthur,ramsay,keehan,atkin,crabb
I DONT THINK RAMSAY IS ON FORM AT THE MOMENT SO I WOULD PUT IM ON THE BENCH OR LET IM PLAY A RESEARVE GAME AND HOPEFULLY HE WOULD GET A GOAL TO RAISE HIS CONFIDENCE

Although Rambo is not scoring at the moment he continues to hold the ball up well and win most of the balls hoofed up to the forward line during the game.
To be perfectly honest I do not care who scores the goals as long as we win. If Scott Ramsey were as quick as Yemi then to be perfectly honest he would not be playing in Conference South but in a higher standard of football.
We have had the discussion before when Rambo has gone through a lean patch but he will always come through it. The partnership of Ramsey and Harding is working well at the moment and I must admit I was one who thought Pat couldn't make the jump from County League to Conference South. He appears to have worked extremely hard on his fitness level and he looks every the inch a Conference South striker.
I am delighted that I have been proved wrong and he is turning in consistent good performances. Controversially, I also think Andy Atkin could also be an excellent Conference South player given the chance but like everyone else he has to fight for a place. I know not everyone will agree with me (such as the guys I sit with) but perhaps they will be proved wrong later in the season when injuries force team changes.

What about Atkin as a centre half? Didn't he play a few times there in pre season friendlies?

considering Harding was marked by John Beswetherick who was a football league regular since last season he did extreemly well and can only improve

The only player not having to fight for a place every game at the moment is Hooky. With near 100% fitness, we have a lot of choices as to formation and every player has someone who could replace them in one formation or another. It can only be for the good of the club, plenty of variable to work with, let's just hope that the one they choose to go with works!
