great result today, and what a brilliant goal from Duncan... Fingers crossed for Crabby but noticed the ambulance was parked up for quite a while..... Lets pray not to serious.... Very impressed with Rambo too, and his unselfish play trying to set up Pat Harding for his 1st goal... All in all a great day for the Boro...

Outstanding performance all round, playing some good flowing passing football, could of bagged a hatfull of goals with the chances we had at the end.. What exactly is Crabbys injury???

I am afraid I am showing my age but I haven't a clue what some of the posters are putting in their messages. I just pass those by as I can't be bothered to try to understand them! I presume this is text speak or something like that.
However, a great result today and some excellent football played. After getting the opening goal so early and some terrific passing football we did seem to revert to the long ball and but for Neil Jenkins excellent header off the line the score would have been 1-1.
In the second half our football at times was breathtaking and but for the unselfish play of some of players trying to give Pat Harding his first goal the final score should have been 5 or 6-0.
However, unlike Shadwellarmy I appreciate that our first four league fixtures have been against teams likely to be in the bottom half of the table and realistically the real test comes with the games against Dorchester and Histon.
If we continue to play football on the ground and avoid the long ball all the time we should fear no-one.
Again the man of the match could have been one of 7 players. Victor had some excellent touches - especially the cross for Rambo's goal and Duncan's goal - absolute magic. It is so good we have him to cover Crabby. I also hope Crabby will soon be back to full fitness. He had a good game today and caused Weston a lot of problems. A couple of Weston players looked good as well from their goalie who was strong and made a couplke of good saves. Their number 2 and 9 were both very strong in the air although 9 liked to use his arms too much.
Last year we were better than Weston but allowed them to beat us 3-1. This year we showed more skill and confidence and deservedly took 3 points.
Cambridge on Monday will not be easy and we need to be on form to beat them again. However, if we play football we will win.
Comke on you Borough!!

Duncans full on strike of the ball swerved out than in, before hitting the back of the net. I think that it was the best strike of the ball i have seen at The Lane. I was beyond the far post at the Riverside End and saw the ball move....outstanding!! truly the sweetest left foot in Sussex Football. However, I am gutted to the core about Matty Crabb....i hope that he is ok, let's hope it is not cruciate ligaments....

For me the champaigne moment was Duncans goal, I've watched him for years and can safely say that he's the only one I know who would even consider trying something like that, absolutely brilliant. Don't worry Taffy, you are not the only one who needs an interpreter and like you a lot of the time I can't be bothered.
