I was there, along with approx 70? Boro supporters.
The problem was basically...to repeat what Garry bellowed at the side during the game: " WORK HARDER!!"
The guys didn't look like they wanted this one. BS were well orgainsed and harrassed us when we had possession. Although they have just sold their best striker - Morisson? to Stevenage, Jack Midson No10 was a real problem for Marc Pullan, although to be fair Marc did well.
Allan Tait didn't read any of Jay's passes from the right...TAit subsequently subbed. Ramsay not what he was at Thurrock....looked lazy with his lay offs and passing in general. No one could hit the target, meaning their goalie had no real testing saves to make, bar one touch over the bar late in the second half.
Their goal came from a clever turn and run at our goal. Neil Jenkins didn't react fast enough and allowed the attacker to get goal side of him and thereby one on one, and into the net passed Hook.
We need to find some passion and spirit and merciless attacking for Sutton game. Ahh well, only three in....room for some tweaking and motivational chat from GnN; judgin by Nicks red face I reckon they got the hair dryer treatment!!
