Jay Saunders has said his last game for Margate will be this weekend Jay would be a good fit, decent contacts and good knowledge of the leagues. Whether he would be more interested in the Sutton job now it's available or the Dartford job should there become one remains to be seen

Your a friendly bunch on here, best of luck in your pursuit of Steve King x Try not to let one person influence your feeling towards this club. I don’t post on here too much anymore as it seems some people are all too eager to resort to making personal attacks.. sad really. There should be a friendly debate.

It’s funny really,I watched well over 100 non league games at all levels 2018/2019, Eastbourne borough and Town had really friendly supporters, as did Worthing ,Lewes, Whitehawk. theres some good players out there, also some good managers i don’t have a blinkered view on any club, I’ve been doing the non league circuit for 12 years thank you for your reply, I love non league as it’s more honest than Premier league football( too many cheats etc) i wish you all the best in your persuit of a manager that can fulfil your teams and supporters ambitions thanks

Totally agree - it has become a 2 person clique on here and everyone else is wrong - I pray we don't employ SK next year and are successful

From a well balanced forum for discussion this has now become very clique orientated and over run with the few "preaching" to the many. Hannah actually raises a valid point which I have voiced before in that SK is more an agent than a manager, and once again, he has no coaching badges so that means extra revenue to bring in his chosen back room team... That my friends will NOT be cheap. Yes you cannot argue with his successes at our level but please, at what cost to the clubs he has been at so far.... It cannot be co-incidence the Lewes, Whitehawk, Farnborough etc all ran in to money issues and the common denominator is... SK.... Be careful what you wish for. Id rather stay watchng NLS and have a club to support than go down the risky road...

Clueless Les where are your facts?on any of what you are saying,?no prof all hear say, the club control the money, you may not like sk and you want some one else that’s fine,as everybody is entitled to their opinion, but to make accusations is libellous, the guy is the best at this level and has proven record in non league, time and time again this season 3rd in our league(with no badges 😂),that could have been us,and should have been us, the board we’ll make the decision, but remember one thing the manager does not get the money it’s run through a pay roll like any other Business.

I seriously doubt the committee will be influenced by anything written on this forum so no point in getting eggy about things. Whether it's Mr King, Jurgen Klopp or AN Other, let's get behind the team and hope for better times ahead come August

Steve Kings record across the period from 2008 to 2016 is pretty good in terms of percentages, however his only major success was winning the conference south in 2007/2008 with a star studded side on high wages who consequently left the club the following season along with himself. You have to reason that many half decent managers would have won the league and possibly the league above with that side. Did Steve King coach that side, no. I quite like the guy and his enthusiasm for the game, and yes his contact list is enviable but I do not think he is the right fit given the budget he would inevitably be constrained by. There have been too many blemishes during his career that conflict with the borough way of doing things. Shoot me down go on.
