Huge huge loss in my book, the best all round keeper we’ve had at the lane.saying understand his decision to leave, thanks for everything Mark, all the best at Billericay.

Of course good luck to Smith, but new keeper looks good, must have talent to be on Watford's books.Defence seemed more confident today(obvious odd hiccup) but all got to get used to one another.Hopefully push on now especially with new no.9

I’m sure this forum can be even better without me waffling on! 😃
Things, escalated quickly. As was common knowledge, Mark was sposed to sign after New Year Days game.
Luckily Sam was available (Willsy told ya he was a good’un!😜)
Football can be ‘a little bit like the emporers new clothes!’ One club is interested, so a few clubs get involved!
Mark missed out on getting a mortgage, even tho the mortgage adviser said he’d get it! Went to the underwriter. He works coaching kids, but because he has recently (10 months) bought the franchise to 3 ‘schools’ that he has worked for, ( apparently they only count if they’ve be under his control for 2 years, regardless of how long they’ve been running or he has worked at them!) His Eastbourne contract, was until May and despite intervention by John Bonar (still owe you that beer!) that doesn’t count either!
Apart from the last year, with the Sports, he has been full time, since he left school (with the day release for training/games some would say before he left school)
The offer to go back to full time football, 18 month contract and pound notes in his pocket, was too good to turn down! (Even it it does involve joining a circus!)
And once again, Boro, were top drawer. Let Mark train with Ricay, the last month! You guys are very fortunate to have such a professionally run set up!
Made a lot of friends, and a piece of us will be forever Sports!❤️
