Lol. Yes, exactly what I’ve been saying. Though I think play-offs is a bit modest. We’ll be 20 points clear at the top by Christmas.

Lets face, overall we were outclassed, but won it was a good performance in terms of effort, but we won't always get away with it. On another note what do we think of the new kit? I thought it was awful. We looked like a Sunday morning team that could not afford a co-ordinated kit. The shorts did not match the shirts AND why all red? I thought our colours were red/black. Mind you have you seen Man you's new kit? Its dreadful, mainly black shading into red. I hate shadeing along with other patterns that seem popular lately. Looks like it belongs on the beach or in the garden.

I agree jbjo I find the home kit totally underwhelming - the away kit looks better - agree about the MU kit, add to that the Chelsea offering and you might think that the designers are running out of ideas
The Crawley Town kits are good - swop the white for black on the home kit and it would look the business for us

So 2000 if you do not count shooting out of the ground or nearly hitting the corner flags as chances, then Welling over the 90 minutes had very few chances. I am sure most of the balls retrieved from outside the stadium were result of their finishing.

Not even worth answering you,you could see welling had others gears they could go through at any time where as us we was playing at our maximum giving everything that we had in the thank and got away with it it’s as simple as that let’s move on to sat and hope we continue our form which I think we will

Welling were over rated and only had one game plan. As for other gears, well why didn't they use them? If that is the case then king should drop the lot of them. I admit we were lucky in the end but that is a commodity that has deserted us for a while so I would take that. The main thing for me is that we did not fold under pressure and the team does look capable of playing decent football.

It's hard to say if Welling are over-rated this early in the season, it's like saying we have turned the corner from being the this-organised outfit we have been under the current regime. Time will tell. Re. the balls in the car park issue then it was a good job Pinney didn't come on we would have run out of matchballs!

Sorry, I meant to say 'disorganised' rabble in my previous post. I will use this post tho' to have another rant about our new kit. Who made and designed? It looks it was purchased in a 'rejects' sale. The question should be put to those that decided, are our colours All Red, or Red?Black?

Hi jbjo
I get the impression you would be more at home with something designed by Mary Quant.

I thought Harry Ransom had Danny Mills under control the whole game and our perfomances all over the pitch were very good . considering many had not played together it was a game every boro player played for the shirt and it was very pleasing to watch.
