I know pre-season has been less than satisfying, but that doesn’t really matter now. This is where it counts.. Come on Boro!!

To coin a (Delia) phrase:
Where are you all - let's be 'aving you
After a break where all we seem to have had on here is criticism of the Manager and Board - we seem to have a decent squad that started off the season with a creditable draw at Oxford City - and it has gone silent, do people only rejoice in the negative
Well done JH and the team - good start - big game Tuesday and really looking forward to it

Agreed. Solid start and a point away from home. Tuesday should be a tough game but it would be great to give the home crowd something to shout about!

Bit sad all critical opinion is taken as an attack on the club. Good result yesterday but it doesn't mean that the pre season wasn't chaotic. Let us hope that the new signings prove to be successful, looking forward to Tuesday.

A solid away point according to the non league paper it was pretty even i see Kristian Cambell got into the team of the day with the quote of up and down the Borough left all afternoon to prevent Oxford ......feeling more confident with this late flurry of new signings will be a interesting next few weeks seeing how they settle in .....one final footnote i see Ryan Worrall signed for Tasman United first tier New Zealand premier league i hope it all goes well for him,,,,,,

The preseason was a shambles to be honest. Some good signings at the last second before the first game but this underlines the need for Danny Bloor to errr... press refresh on his black book of bostik contacts.
BUT the results now onwards are what counts. A draw away from home is an ok result if you have mid table ambition and can rely on your home record to keep you safe... unfortunately since the “plastic fantastic” pitch has been payed we have looked rather dire at home. Still wondering if we make any £s from it. Yesterday’s result was signs of a hard season to come I think if people are getting excited about a bore draw away at Oxford.
Is Yemi injured? Seems an awful waste of £s in the budget for a bench warmer if not.

A clean sheet and a point away from home,i'd put that down as an okay start.

Still why let getting the facts of the day wrong stop another little dig......

Do you check any facts before you criticise ?
Oxford has a plastic pitch as well - so that negates the comment above
Yemi came on in the second half - so no he isn't injured...............

Good result, got to be happy with a clean sheet & any points away are good points. Well done.
New signings as promised, great effort all round.
