A quick goal at the start of the second half and we'd be right back in it.. Come on Boro!

The game was slightly overshadowed by the atrocities of last night and it was a nice gesture of solidarity by the club to hold a minutes silence before the game.
It's a shame we left it late with the goal otherwise it could've been a thrilling finish. We shouldn't read too much into this one game as it was obviously a good side we came up against in atrocious conditions, but we are currently bottom of the form table with 3 points from our last 6 matches. With a few tough looking fixtures coming up before christmas it isn't likely to get any easier.

Being so fresh, the events in Paris were in the forefront of my mind.

Thought it was to honour the people who were killed in Paris last night?

Yes, you're right, Mr F. The "official" Armistice silence was observed last weekend. Today was rightly for !Nous sommes Paris".
