Thanks for providing updates Smithy. Elsewhere in the league WSM have taken an early lead away to Margate and Truro are 1-0 up against Havant.

A little disappointing really. Concord have the second worst goals conceded record in the league.. but on the positive side we managed a clean sheet.

The reason we kept a clean sheet was due to the inability of their 9 to put away 1of 5 chances in the first half Lewis made a couple of one on one saves, but the guy could,nt hit a cows backside with a banjo, if he had played all night Mutch improved performance in the second half A point is a point at the end of the day

After a period of our early possession Concord realised we were playing 3 at the back and with their 2 quick boys up front carved through the middle of our defence at will for the next 20 mins and should have done a Margate by half time except for our saviour Lewis and their no.9s inability to finish. Its clear to me that our boys are not comfortable or capable to play 3 5 2 all the time and certainly not when it exposes Ian's lack of pace against the speed merchants. The management seemed frozen in inaction to this problem and only the sad latest injury to Adam forced the return of 4 at the back and some defensive control.
As for the rest of the game we were tighter at the back but passing movements through the midfield were rare and ugly long ball ruled the day.
Please TW at least start most games with 4 AT THE BACK.

Where was "Pinney at his best? Pinney at his very best?" The only front man we had was Gavin McCallum until Romain came on. Carey saved a real embarrassment

We play better when we keep the ball on the deck, we have got to become more consistent what was dissapointing was the lack of attempts on goal, when we played Oxford city we passed the ball around and for the majority of the game where the better side if we played like that on a regular basis we would win more games and score more goals we have players with the ability to do a lot better than we did on Saturday.

Where was "Pinney at his best? Pinney at his very best?" So Pins had a bad day at the office.... Tho so did most of the others on the park,, but hey, why include them when your favourite target for ridicule is scapegoat of the day... Funny how you never seem to pop up and praise Nat for his MoM performances ( did you witness his outstanding game at Oxford? No didnt think so ) but thats not controversial enough is it

I think the point trying to be made striker is that many players had a 'bad' or 'below par' game against Concord but once again you singled out Nat Pinney, really seems like you have something personal against him.
