Had some control for the first 10 minutes but we soon became overran with their pace and power mainly upfront ,we needed the midfield to help out meaning that Romain became isolated and leaving us with no outlet ,the first goal came on 13 minutes ,a penalty given conceded by Beale (could he have left it to Carey ? ) ,down to 10 men and really "game over " ,another one followed before half time ,a fourth before the hour by which time we were all wishing for the end ,we had more of the game towards the end by which time you felt our hosts weren't too bothered ,but our only real shot in anger came from Haysman .It is a long time since I have seen a Boro team unable to deal with an opposition attack and spend most of the time simply repelling borders but for Carey (good to see he has signed an extension) it could have been a lot worse .We did wonder why it was necessary to change the team ,at least if Pinney had played we would have had our own power to combat the hordes .Onto Truro City on Saturday ,be interesting to see what happens as they lost 60 at home to Oxford City today, mind you H&W lost 5 0 last week .!

Brought back down to earth yesterday. Still a good start to the season with 12 points from 21. The real test will be whether we can last the distance and sustain some form. The past couple of seasons have seen us drop away from contention, we've been here before.

Really disappointing result and to lose 4-0 is quite embarrassing. However, its early days in the season im sure we will hit a more consistent form in the near future. No need for panic stations just yet, looking forward to saturday, lets hope we can bounce back with a couple of goals and a win!
