Thanks for the updates. Shame about the result, but it seems there wasn't really all that much in it? We'll have to wait till Saturday to try again against Wealdstone.

Conceded an early goal meant that we were always chasing the game ,lot of creativity in midfield and in truth probably had as much of the ball as Dartford just did not hurt them with it ,best periods at the end of each half and indeed pressed hard at the end ,bit like saturday ,need to find our cutting edege in front of goal and soon ,Carey was once again outstanding and without him tonight the we could have lost by at least 3 more ,hope to turn it around on saturday ,could be without Lok .

0-1 F/T The disallowed goal was for pushing on the goal line between Kiran and their number 8. The ref had spoken to 8 just before the corner but when it came to the goal the foul was given the other way. 8 had been pushing all night. The man in black tonight was bordering on jeckyl and Hyde with his only cautions seemingly saved for the men in yellow, of which I can have complaints as all challenges warranted yellows BUT oddly when Dartford players did similar a wagging finger was deemed punishment enough.... I know its easy to blame the ref when you lose BUT when 3 of your midfield and defence are all at risk of a 2nd yellow it does make them slightly less effective when posed with telling tackles... Our biggest problem again tonight is a telling number 9 in the mould of Atkin or Ramsey.. We need a 6ft plus pain in the bottom leading the line....

I think placing all the blame on one single player is all too easy and not very productive. Also, bear in mind that Pinney won the penalty in the opening game. So far we've lost at home to Maidenhead (who beat Bishop's Stortford 4-1 on Tuesday, indicating that they may not be planning on simply playing the part of an "also ran" this season) and Dartford away, which is also on the face of it not an easy fixture and we weren't really far off in the end.. I think the next couple of games will show where we truly are. We should give the players a chance and not strike them off at the first opportunity. Anyway, Tommy will be aware of who is performing and who is not and it'll be interesting to see who starts on Saturday.

Even I thought that Strikers "Pinney Witch Hunt" might have waited til at least a month in, but I guess he simply dusted off last seasons garb and hit the ground running early....

I am only voicing opinions of many in the ground, all the things I have mentioned are so obviously clear to see, and for sure we will loose more games than win, poor Locky hadn't recovered from Saturdays game at Dartford. No human being can recover from all the running he does on behalf of his fellow striker!

Elsewhere, Josh Scowen has scored for Barnsley at Scunthorpe in the League Cup. Alex Lacey is playing for Yeovil against QPR. In the Ryman Premier, Dean Sinclair has scored for Hampton and Tom Derry has got on target for Billericay, while in Ryman One South, Garry Wilson's Hastings are 3-1 up at Sittingbourne with Sam Cole (2) and Zac Attwood the goalscorers. Interesting to see where former Boro players are and how they're getting on, thanks for the update! I love all the stick i get off you fans... Its no problem for me... you are all entilted to your opinions. See you saturday! If you are who you say you are, my advice would be not to take things said on here too seriously. There'll always be one or two people at any club on the look out for a scapegoat..

Just for clarification: the posts by the person calling himself "pinney" were NOT from Nat Pinney. The poster - or should I say im-poster - has been removed from the forum.
Although it is worth remembering that this is an unofficial forum, the Club takes issues of personal abuse - as opposed to fair and reasonable comment - very seriously, and these issues are actively being addressed.

Great news that the idiot has been removed. Hope the real Nat Pinney hasn't taken it all to heart. Thanks for the update Kevin.
