Only time will tell the outcome of this new chapter for the club.
"We have a series of significant announcements that we will be making over the summer - all of which will demonstrate the progress we are making off the pitch.” Looking forward to hearing these announcements what ever they may be!

I suppose a hybrid pitch would cost too much? I'm still not sure about the decision to go to 3G.. If the Conference keeps going back on its word we could end up being held back on promotion due to our pitch...

Some supporters will have got an inkling of this - and my apologies to at least one contributor who asked about it earlier in the week, and I had to be a bit economical with the truth. I'm sure you will understand that the club could not publish a decision until that decision was definite. Really the club's hand has been forced. The Conference has not been at all clever on this, and I think other clubs will be equally cross! The financial package has to be right, too, and there were hurdles to jump there. Anyway, as Paul Maynard says in the statement, all the very thorough planning is still in place for next year. Doing things right is usually more important than doing them quickly.
