A battling performance in truly awful conditions ,the Sutton Keeper hadn't even sorted how to play the wind by the 90th minute ,the young side continues to improve and we are now top of the current form table ,well done to all and there is real hope for next season ,onto Concord Rangers !

It was indeed a truly battling performance in a match that became almost farcical with both teams struggling to come to terms with the gale force winds. Games against Sutton United usually involve a fair amount of good passing football but on this occasion this was difficult with both Sutton and the Sports unable to string more than a couple of passes together. However, this is a results game and with Darren Lok running his heart out earned the penalty which in the end was the deciding factor in extending this excellent run and increase the views that "if only a few we had pinched a few of those drawn games we would be in the mix now". By rights Tommy should be Manager of the Month with us winning all our matches played in March. Plus the bonus of this good run is that our old friend Striker appears to have taken his holidays as his pessimistic, depressing comments have dried up - perhaps he is now adding his four penny worth to the Eastbourne Town forum as they now appear to have missed the boat as far as promotion goes.

Spoke to Tommy after the game and he said the last time he won manager of the month it put a jinx on us.
