This will have been earmarked as one of the games we need to get a result from. We have a very good home record and if any talk of still having a sniff at the play offs is to be taken seriously then we need to take something from this. Still a long way to go though..

Impressive attendance: 763. Now all we need is an impressive performance to match.

Lucky to get a point from an other lack lustre performance ,in my view only 3 attempts actually on goal and one of those was from Carey ,should have been 2 down in the first half but Louis put in round the post ,played better when at last the system was changed and some height added to the front line but we had to endure over an hour of missed passes ,long balls and just a complete lack of any creativity ,mind you the constant "revolving door " of players must make it hard to keep any team spirit and any continuity of performance . This was to be a season of progression, in my view this has not happened even though we have probably a better squad but not a better team ,too many poor performances and only one win away from home in the league and that was in August . My MOM today was Adam Watts who tried to hold the defence together . Sorry but over the last few months performances have simply not been good enough ,Lowestoft ,Chelmsford (a) ,Whitehawk (a) ,Lewes ,and today ,the only really excellent game was Boreham Wood at home rather than the away hammering . We need to play a settled side with fewer changes ,no organisation can function properly with so many personnel changes and this I believe is one lesson from this season ,I think we have had at least 25 players through our side this season . Onto Bath firstly me then the team next week . Whilst here congratulations to my League 1 colleague who lives to fight another day

Those of us who are "terrace managers" have been saying over and over again that Tommy just is not getting his front 2 right. Currently most agree that Loky should start but isn't it obvious that if a great deal of our attacks feature a high ball into the danger areas he needs to have a partner who can both win some headers and hold the ball up for 3 or 4 secs. to lay off to team mates.... and that is NOT Gavin. Today the whole game changed when that type of player was put on. Gavin is a luxury player and goal scorer but not a Target man and should play behind front 2 and sometimes be sacrificed if a more solid midfield is required. The rest of the team is not settled with Ian missing and new faces yet to settle but if we get the front 2 sorted it may well have a knock on affect to the way the rest of the team perform. Good to see Watts starting to look like his old self. Couple of my favourites Simon and Sam not at their best last couple of games!

I thought watts had a good game and that is good news, however I cannot see how Johno gets a game. To be honest he has been moved around but when he plays in the hole he plays well and occasionally scores. Just wasted out wide. Sessegnon looks pretty good and the other new lad showed some neat touches. I thought pacman did really well to put the goal away from what was our first decent cross. Wealdstone are a no frills team with a solid core of players...the goal they scored was quite superb. Difficult to break down and some credit has to be given to our team for fighting till the end, which was duly rewarded. I would like to see haysman get a start maybe in the hole where his quick thinking and skills will be better utilised, also mc callum is not a central striker, I reckon 99 out of 100 managers would play him out wide..... I see common sense was observed in at least one place today....well done the chairman from what I hear.
A mention on wealdstones away support, bloomin superb and an example of how to properly support your team on the road, nice singing lads, good match atmosphere. Kudos
