You will have read your Herald over the breakfast table, and I know people are interested in the news of two new signings. We will get you firm news as soon as possible, but it is club policy always to wait until the ink is dry on the contract, and in this case there are some bits of paperwork to do. The two players are an attacking wing-back and a very strong and imposing midfielder. Both have very good Conference South pedigree and the signings are a statement of intent. These are not hopeful triallists. They will be at Priory Lane for the rest of the season.

[be]OK - ALL SIGNED AND SEALED.... Eastbourne Borough manager Tommy Widdrington has confirmed two new signings this morning. 21-year-old midfielder Jack Evans arrives from Sutton United, for whom he has played 18 times this season, scoring two goals. He came through the ranks at Gillingham, and has also played for Tamworth in the Conference National.
Joining Evans at Priory Lane is wing-back Chris Sessegnon, from Ebbsfleet United, where he has made 16 appearances this season. Chris, also 21, was previously a first-teamer at Dover Athletic.
"I am delighted to announce these two signings," said Tommy. "Both lads are exciting and talented players who will certainly strengthen our squad."
"I am sure that our supporters will join me in welcoming both players to Priory Lane, and will be impressed with what they see of Jack and Chris. They will have a strong contribution to make as we now build our assault on the play-off places."
Both players will be at Priory Lane for (at least)the rest of the season.[/be]
