After an even first 10 minutes at a chilly Leylands Park with the home side having a couple of decent chances Boro took the lead on 14 when Nick Richardson finished a half volley brilliantly into the top corner after good work from George Stonestreet
Hill spent the rest of the half getting frustrated with some odd refereeing and despite putting the visitors back four, including 15 year old m.o.m Brent Stonard under pressure from breakaways they didn't really look like scoring until 3 minutes before the break when a deflected shot just evaded Harrison Hilfiker back in the Boro goal after his hospital stay last month.
We knew Hill would come out with their tails up and 2 minutes into the second half Boro needlessly gave the ball away and a cross was turned into his own net by Tom Clift .
With the home side winning every second ball in midfield the defence was constantly being turned around and conceded a third from a good through ball and a fourth from a penalty midway through the half.
Substitute Ollie Taylor got one back from a Jordan Astell cross with a good header and the yellows pegged the greens back for 10 minutes but a break away goal sealed it .
A strange result after dominating the first half but we stopped working and were caught on the break, conceded an OG and a penalty so only ourselves to blame really.
