Hi, firstly, thanks for allowing me to join. I have a question for you, regarding your cup tie Saturday v Dover . We lost last round to Basingstoke well truth be told their keeper he had a great game but heh ho, anyway knocked out of cup so we as a family are having a weekend away in Hastings booked before the club bought forward the Tuesday game to Saturday !!! Seeing as I like to catch a game and never been to your place I'm going to do both Saturday , if I can't get a lift from herself or son, I'll bus or train in....which is better and if bus which stop is best coming in from coombe haven??? Again many thanks les

The nearest station to the ground is Pevensey & Westham, which is around a mile and half away. However, it is not served by any practical public transport that can take you to the ground. It may be more practical to head for Eastbourne station instead. Although Eastbourne Station (which is served by trains from London Victoria) is around four miles away from the stadium, it does have public transport links and a taxi rank, whereas Pevensey & Westham does not. As Jim Burgin explains; 'Fans who come by train should get off at Eastbourne Station, walk 50 yards into town centre and catch the Eastbourne Loop 11 bus, going Eastbound towards Langney. This bus passes the ground and can be caught in the town centre outside Argos on Terminus Road (Stop L). Ask for a dayrover which is currently £3.70 this will act as a return ticket. Buses run every 15 minutes or so and the journey takes around 25 minutes. On a Saturday after the game has ended, the bus can be caught back into Eastbourne from outside the ground around every 15 minutes up to about 6pm. The link below is the website I copied this from I have linked you to it if you need to know anything else that might be helpful about the ground. www.footballgroundguide.com/eastbourne-borough/index.html

If the weathers nice a leisurely walk from Pevensey and Westham station only takes 20 mins and is only a mile away

Hi Les.... With regard to a bus from Combe Haven, the 99 service runs past the bottom of Harley Shute Road in to Eastbourne and if you got off at the Asda bus stop, the ground is about a 10 minute walk from there....
