a pulsating and enthralling cup tie. we started very well and had the best of the first half with johhno finding the corner of the net after his first time howitzer was palmed out by the keeper. we were in control for long periods with sone excellent interpassing in the midfield. Lloyd foot came on about midway for watts who was crocked, aldred and sinclair were moving the ball around well. second half and we went 2 up when lloyd foots well struck free kick just outside the penalty box moved at the last minute and the keeper only helped it in. Incredibly as we were cruising, kingstonians got back in with a well taken goal by elvis hammond, minutes later the arch poacher was at it again when simpemba was caught out on the flank with the ball flying in to elvis who once again took his goal well. it was begining to look like one of those days with boro in control but suddenly on the back foot. lewis carey made a blinding save by the post and the game changed again close on time when lokky powered past the impressive kingstonian left back and found the opposite corner. great scenes of jubilation from the travelling boro fans who might well have outnumbered the home contingent in a crowd of 550 ish. it certainly sounded like it and as the final whistle went the players went to the away support looking well pleased with the vocals today, great stuff. MOM johhno typical performance, battling everywhere and the best player on view with a fine goal to top it.every player put a shift in today and the gap in class told at crucial times. brilliant.

I think we played very well today, however we created lots of chances but failed to provide the end product. Also we looked worrying at the back after Watts came off injured. On the positive side 3 good goals only just put us into the hat tomorrow after Lokky saved us in the last minutes of the game.
Also could anyone tell me who Louis Rodgers is that was on the bench for us today?

Louis Rogers is Academy goalkeeper. He often travels with the first team and assists in the warm-up, and it was a good gesture by TW to take advantage of the seven subs available in the FA Cup. Louis is a local guy, product of Tollgate School and Willingdon School, and like all the Academy youngsters he has ambitions of a pro career.
To see Louis and his mates in action, pop down to an Academy game soon!
And yes, today was a very good display and an absolutely first-class, two-sided spectacle which kept everybody totally gripped. (How can a pasty England performance somewhere in the Baltic possibly match up to that....?)
