Hi everyone, As many of you may remember, earlier this year my nephew and i ran the Eastbourne Half Marathon and thanks to you guys, we raised £2000 for the Children With Cancer Fund in Polegate who have done some amazing work with children and families affected by Cancer in and around Sussex. They began helping my neice after she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma some 14months ago and continue to provide help and support as her treatment continues. Your generousity earlier in 2014 was truly amazing and i cannot thankyou enough. In 2015 however, i'm upping the challenge in order to raise more funds for this fantastic organisation. In April of next year i'll be taking on my first Full Marathon in Brighton, (26.2miles!!! Seemed a good idea when i signed up) as well as running the Eastbourne and Hastings Half Marathons as warm ups. There is a distinct possibility that i may be resembling a certain large sunshine for the Eastbourne Half just brighten the mood. I know you all gave so generously last time and its cheeky of me to ask you to dig deep again but CWCF is cause very close to my heart and the work they do is truly inspiring. I'll set up a just giving account early in the new year but wanted to just give you all a heads up. Thankyou in advance, Colin (aka Trigger from the club shop)

You're a star thanks wha.
Just as side note, shortly after we passed the money raised over to CWCF, they had families day at knockhatch, several children suffering for cancer and their parents enjoyed a day away from the hospitals and the treatment rooms to have fun and be kids. I know that one day for 130+ people cost over £1500 but to the children and their families those days are priceless. CWCF also recently took 10 families to the isle of wight for the weekend, the money you give goes a long long way.
