Most of these have already appeared on the website or in the press, but here's a quick recap. When the new club website gets up and running, we will publish full biographies. The information below is unofficial but is correct to the best of my knowledge.
OUT Frankie Raymond to Dag and Red, Charlie Gorman to Welling, Jack Deaman to Ch*ltenham Town. All of those moving up the ladder. Chris Shephard to Weymouth. Lewis Tallack is off to Poole Town, who are closer to his home. James Stinson and Craig Ross have not yet signed for any other club, I believe. Elliott Levy is taking a brief break from football but Borough still hold his registration. I do not know the latest on Tom Derry but he is not currently in Borough's plans. Ollie Rowe and Sam Cole to Lewes. Not sure about Elvis but I bet he'll turn up somewhere.....
STILL HERE Darren Lok, Simon Johnson, Matt Aldred, Adam Watts, Ian Simpemba, and have I forgotten someone? (If so I'll wear dark glasses and collar turned up for the next game). Several Academy lads are on Conference forms, including Ryan W, and Richie W. - I'll publish a full list in due course. Who would have dreamed, a year ago, that the Academy would already be producing players who can slot seamlessly into the front side? 17 going on 20...
IN Keeper Lewis Carey from Tonbridge/Sutton/Bristol City. Left back Sam Beale from Brentford. Forwards Gavin McCallum from Sutton and Richard Pacquette from everywhere (sorry Richard, welcome back!). Jay Lovett is on Conference forms - and still easily fit enough to put some of the youngsters to shame! There are a number of other players who may or may not have "completed the paperwork" at the time of writing, so I will leave them off the list for the moment. But they do include some very experienced, high quality players. TW may feel he would like more depth and will no doubt work towards that objective in the coming weeks, but I think he has a first-choice eleven already in his head for the opening three or four games, and it is one that will excite supporters and alarm opponents.
A welcome also to new physio Sam, who will be sharing the duties with Tuppers. And a highly impressive debut for the club's new programme editor, Anthony Scott, whose first effort for the Lewes game was super. Thanks, Anthony!
Anyway, keep your eyes peeled for more news - and get to the opening fixtures to see for yourselves!

Good to have you back in print Kevin.
No mention of this Charlie Lassaso*? lad and his fitness!
Also are you sure it was RP who scored on Sat because unless my eyes have gone it was No.8 who tucked it away who I thought was Dean Sinclair.

And it looks like Bakes will not be in the dug out this season.Have heard two reasons 1 He wants to spend more time with his family.2 The club have reduced the coaching budget.Take your pick, I know which one I think, and I feel surprised and somewhat shocked.

My apologies - two-fold. 1 I did have my eye off the ball literally, when the goal went in on Saturday, and it may well have been Dean and not Richard who popped it in. 2 And yes of course I missed Charlie Losasso off the list. Charlie copped an injury in the first friendly, at the Oval, and has been gently nursing it back. I spoke to him on Monday when he kicked a ball again, in a training game, and was feeling positive. This Saturday might be too soon though. Charlie is a gifted, quick, creative player and you will be impressed. He was an AFC Bournemouth player last season but had a couple of loan spells at Conf South clubs.

Shame if Bakes has gone with so little ceremony ,after all the games he had played for the club you would have expected some announcement and thanks rather then this news dribbling out ,yet again another example of poor public relations I am afraid .

The talk from some of the ex players at smarty's testimonial was that bakes was taking a year or two out, as many of them are doing before stepping back into the game in coaching form. Darren Baker gave a lot of time to the club and to football, can't blame him for wanting to spend a season or two with his family.

I'm sure you're aware, but just to update: Elliott Levy has signed on dual-registration at Worthing, Tom Derry is at Aldershot and Elvis is at Kingstonian.

Looks like we may have our right back / central defender ,according to site accessed by the ever useful goggle he may have stopped off at Sutton United ,seems many people shop at Tesco's ,we apparently use Sutton Utd and so far very pleased with what we have acquired!

Had he not signed for Sutton in July or was that non contract terms? Is he with us on contract, loan or non contract? All a bit unofficial at moment.
Like the Tesco/Sutton comparison Borodale!
Noticed Concord had 2 or 3 defenders injured for their last game... if they are still out might be a good time to play a team we havnt had much success with so far.

Lloyd Foot has signed forms for Borough and is training with the squad. He is a strong, assertive figure who can play at the back or in midfield. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get some first-team action. We know the front side have started well and any new player may have to wait the opportunity, but with plenty of games coming up, Tommy needs a slightly bigger squad than he began the season with. Lloyd has excellent pedigree and was indeed captain of the Saints youth team in that golden generation - and he's still young enough to join them in due course....!
A little bit of explanation. Issues about "signing contracts" can confuse supporters at times. Some players do sign a season-long contract (or even longer) if they and the club are both happy to secure that medium-term future. Clearly it involves a big financial commitment by the club: a player is likely to be still paid even if his form drops or if he is injured. On the other hand, there is always the possibility of a bigger club coming in and thus paying a transfer fee for a contracted player (although if the club holds the registration of a player under 24, there are probably financial compensations anyway if he moves on).
But many players are attached to the club on what is effectively a week-to-week basis. That isn't as flimsy as it sounds - it's pretty normal in non-league football and it gives all parties some flexibility. The only essential thing in terms of paperwork is to sign league registration forms. Clubs tend not to be too public about who is or isn't on contract, and we have to respect that.
That's the simplified version, anyway. And there's an extra set of procedures for loan players, but you'll be getting thoroughly bored if I write any more...
(What I would also add is that this current Borough set-up has a solidity and sense of tight squad loyalty which makes the paperwork almost an after-thought. Many of these lads are playing for very modest reward, because (a) they want to play for the Gaffer and for this club, and (be) they are constantly seeking both to better themselves and to earn longer-term rewards.)

Thanks Kevin... not at all boring... I for one like to understand as much as we are allowed to!
I quess each player's deal is different however have wondered about several things ie:-
1) Is a win bonus usual? 2) Is appearance money a factor and do you get it if on the bench used or unused? 3) If a contracted player has long injury what is he paid and do we take out insurance at this level to cover? 4) Are there goal or clean sheet bonuses.
I'm sure others have questions that they would be curious to get a know about.
