Lost 2-1. Play off hopes almost over with other contending teams winning.

The Herald said that TW was happy being under the radar, he is not even on a Sat Nav now. if you have any thoughts of not loosing inevitability you will

The play-offs look highly unlikely now - we knew we needed something from these two fixtures to still be in with a shout. 69 points the maximum achievable now. 71/72 points usually gets you there, albeit we qualified with 64 points back in 04/05. Can't see Havant slipping up though with the games they have in hand. We should aim to finish strongly in any case - already an improvement on last year and the best season for quite a while shows we're going in the right direction. Just need to finish on a high and we can challenge again next season.

P.S. This team is still young and will have learned a lot from this season - think of the progress we've made since we were down in the doldrums and narrowly escaped relegation in 11/12.

No big suprise that we have hit the wall. The team has overperformed in terms of overall results, it is a youngish team and a decent squad. I predicted half way at start of season, I reckon we will finish above that. TW has done exceptionally well with his budget bringing in classy players like simpemba and hammond and one or 2 others. I have to say after watching eastbourne uniteds failed attempt to reach wembley, that it does you good once in a while to see a lower league game. There is a gulf in class between what we see at the lane and what you will see at the oval despite them topping the division. wouldnt mind that crowd at the lane though!

Worrying not only what's going on the pitch but also a distinct lack of interest on this forum, start of this season I said we would finish 10th I really don't want to be right. I don't think there's any outstanding team's in this league a few poor but nothing fantastic and we're slap bang in the middle.still got an outside chance of making the play offs but very much in doubt. Still don't think Tommy is the right manager made a lot of strange decisions of late ie sticking Simpenda up front for the last 30 mins on Wednesday he's been our best player this season but he's not a striker. The future? Academy will start feeding through Darren and Jay both getting experience of the other side of football so hopefully bright.

Disappointing but not unexpected score at Bath yesterday. I agree there has not been an outstanding team in the league this year as the top sides have regularly dropped points in a very open league, which has made it interesting as there are still several clubs with a lot to play for, either for the remaining play-off position or those in the relegation dogfight. I feel we will finish 9th, 10th or 11th this season, which, with more points than the previous campaign is a big improvement and for the first time in the past 3 or 4 years we have not heard relegation mentioned. Concord have come from nowhere and are now in a very strong position which shows how quickly things can change, and with our remaining games I am sure TW will still want to accumulate more points and it would be good to get to the 60 point mark, as results will be more important to our opposition than to us. Was amused to see in the Non-League- Paper our goal was scored by Samuel Johnson, words fail me!!

We seem to lose against to many teams in the lower reaches of our division .
