Players diving and rolling around in oscar like performances seem to be a common part of our game at every level. A gentle touch or shove and over they go like a tenpin In the early 90's when I refereed players only writhed around due to a genuine injury. Although it wont happen, instead of a minimum of 'x' amount of minutes added time at the end, I'd like to see the system used in rugby; stop the game every time the ball is 'dead' i.e. throw in, injuries, goal kicks, subs and fouls before re-starting. This would also ensure the paying spectator gets to see 90 minutes of action instead of the average 75 minutes.

what a shame italy out,no more than they deserved after a formation of 8-1-1,i remember mourhino saying that spurs "parked a bus in front of the goal" wonder what he made of italy last night? At least spain had a bit of a go,unlike their opponents who have fifty passes before they get out their own half,or just wait to hit you on the break!

Spain... it'll be Spain. I said that before the tourny started. I also predicted Italy for the last world cup, again before the finals started. You heard it here first!

Cant believe no one backed turkey yet. They refuse to be beaten. The germans are in for a hard game.
