Well, what a fitting climax to the book!
I will be putting the finishing touches to it over the weekend and hope it will be available to order online from the second week in June, priced £12.50 (£15 including postage).
Only 600 copies are being printed and over 200 have already been sold as pre-orders which are no longer being taken.
As you can imagine, Borough get some decent coverage - a perfect souvenir of a memorable season!
What this space.

I have just updated the Centre Circle Publishing website to include the new front cover + sample pages of the Season of Sussex Soccer book. Go to www.ccpub.co.ukThe book will be officially launched at the Sussex County League Annual Dinner & Awards Evening on 6 June. Sixty-Two clubs are featured + 105 full colour photographs. Order forms (and possibly PayPal provision) will be available after the launch date. I also hope to be able to sell a limited number of copies in the Sports Shop at Priory Lane.

Looks great. I would have thought 600 was a bit light, can I place an order before June?

Looks great. I would have thought 600 was a bit light, can I place an order before June? Although I'm biased I have to say I'm very pleased with it (at least on the screen). 600 copies of a full colour book is costing just over £3,000 to print and I couldn't risk a larger print run. I've no idea what the demand is going to be like for the remaining books that haven't already been pre-ordered but as I will be launching at the County League dinner I hope to sell quite a few there. The remainder will go on sale after that date and if you get your order in early you should be OK. Therefore watch this space for the time-being. If demand proves to be substantial AND I get the orders up front, I may consider a second print run, but only if it's financially viable. I'm not looking to make my fortune on this, but would at least like to break even and maybe even set some funds aside for my next project.

There is a quite a big spread (with photographs) in tomorrows Argus (Weds 4 June) if anyone is interested. The book is officially published on Friday and those who pre-ordered should receive their copies next week. For those who haven't ordered a copy, order forms are now available www.ccpub.co.uk/Books/Book%20order%20form.pdfIf you live in Eastbourne and would like to save on the postage, drop me a line and I'll see if I can arrange 'by hand' delivery or collection from the Club.

It's not on the shelf ... at least not during the close season, after which I hope to make copies available at the Club Shop. In the meantime you can order direct from me. If you live in Eastbourne drop me an email to info@ccpub.co.uk and you can get the book for £12.50 and save on the postage as I can deliver to the Club or your home address. Otherwise there is an order form for download at www.ccpub.co.uk/Books/Book%20order%20form.pdfI hand delivered around 30 local pre-orders this weekend and will get the rest out during the next 7 days. Any comments from those who have already received their copy?

I received my copy hot off the press yesterday and quickly flicked through it.
It is an excellent read that we will keep me going for weeks and i will continue to delve in for many years to come. I do like the broad cross section covered in this book showing the real grass roots of football. Good quality photographs and interesting text.
This is a must for anyone interested in football who wants to remember this great season.
Get your copy before they sell out.
