I'll be there, will be good to see a game of football at the Lane seeing as we don't have another home game until the 14th! Should think Michael Jordan, Darren Baker, Simon Weatherstone will start, Simon only just coming back from injury so would be a good run out for him tonight. Possibly Dan Smith as I think his suspension only counts for 1st team matches? Looking forward to it :D

a strong crawley side featuring at least 6 first teamers, a very attack minded Boro side. a good game to watch, finished boro 2 creepy 5.

Atkin 1st half and a Taylor penalty in the second. Pretty good game to watch but we lost it in the opening 15-20 minutes when we were already 3-0 down :(

To me this wasn't a 2-5 kind of game. Yes we blew it big time in the opening 15 or so, but didn't give in and took the game to a very strong Crawley side.

On the trialist side, Joseph Benjamin, the guy wearing the number 11 tonight was big, strong, pacy and looked good bearing in mind he met his team mates for the first time this evening!! Some very nice touches and wasn't afraid to take the ball to, then round midfield and defence. Word has it he is a Northampton Town player that has lost favour due to a management change there. With a few training sessions he could certainly add an extra dimension to our first team squad as a loanee. ( Check out http://www.ntfc.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10425~44439,00.html )

Nice to see Darren Lock back in a Boro shirt and he was very close to making the score 3-5 when a delightful chip from 25 yards clipped the bar. The score didn't fully reflect the balance of play.

Yes, I thought Darren Lock was good when he played for the Under 18's and then for the Reserves last season. Haven't seen him wear a Boro shirt for a while now. Hope to see more of him. I think he's been playing for Ringmer on a dual sign.
